Astro Block Breaker app for iPhone and iPad

Astro Block Breaker is a new take to the retro arcade game’s genre. Taking the classic mechanics of games like Atari’s Block Breaker and Space Invaders and combining them with a fresh new vibe and updating their gameplay to suit mobiles.

Astro Block Breaker is a endless 2D side scrolling action space game.

The game’s premise is you’re a space ship (looking strangely like a cross between a space ship and a grey, space paddle) moving right across the screen. The world beneath is constantly pulling you down and you must tap the screen and use your thrusters to stop yourself falling to your doom (Not at all like Flappy Birds, right?). But there is more! Blocks fall across the screen that you must dodge! One, single ball, flails around the screen, destroying all blocks it hits. And this is where the Block Breaker bit begins! Suddenly the game has become a careful balance between challenging and fun!

Note: (Depending on popularity of the title) I might be tempted someday to update this game into a Super Astro Breaker addition. Including ball power ups falling from broken blocks (Multi Spawn Ball, Kill a Color, ect), super fun special effects, and all sorts of fast arcade-y type things.
